John Pierpont Morgan was born into a distinguished New England family on April 17, 1837, in Hartford, Connecticut. JP Morgan followed his wealthy father into the banking business in the late 1850s and also teamed up with Philadelphia banker Anthony Drexel their firm was called J.P. & company. Morgan was heavily involved in reorganizing and consolidating a number of financially troubled railroads.He gained control of significant portions of these railroads’ stock and eventually controlled an estimated one-sixth of America’s rail lines. Since being one of the big names in the movement of transportation, he had penalty of money for himself and others , he had so much money he helped the U.S get out of two funks they were in.

This title is prime and Mr. Stewart owes you some props for this one because it is basically a huge shoutout to him. It give a solid little background summary on the "cashed out" Morgan and I think it is a good little brain refresher for the test.
