Highway Pollution

In my neighborhood, it is pretty clean and I appreciate the people who take the second out of their time to pick something up in the sidewalk, bushes and streets. I try my best to pick up trash if I see it where it isn't supposed to be. I believe that there are many people that don't care at all if they see trash in the street, sidewalk, or bushes. They would only care if there is trash on their property. Quoting Mr. Stewart, "If there is a couch in the middle of the street, people would be like, 'Oh who cares, that isn't my street.'" Things like this can prevent the plants from growing and can potentially kill animals, as the presenters said. A person can think that they're just throwing a little piece of trash, but if more and more people think like this, the trash can build up.

  1. I totally agree, with you and Mr Stewart, I think that even if it's not your street, you should still do something about it because it is affecting someone else. It's just like if there is a car on fire, you don't just walk away because it's not your car, you call the police and 911. People should do the same thing...

  2. I agree with you and try my best to also clean up where I can. It really is pretty sad and just pathetic that people can be so blatant to a problem that can be helped so easily. Hopefully more light is brought to it soon.
