1920s
The skyscrapers represents a driving scale of economics as well as their political statuses. The growth of the rich contributed to the atmosphere because it inspired people to work harder because they too believed that they could "strike it rich". Harlem was so popular in the 1920s because of the upbringing of jazz. Music brought people together and jazz just was another example in how performing arts could bring a nation together. In the 1920s women won the right to vote and others took the advantages of finally being able to show parts of their skin to the highest to earn more money. The Klu Klux Klan opposed anybody who wasn't a white Anglo Saxon Protestant and they seized 7 political states.

This post is great! You explain all the symbols of the 1920's and how they affected the people! I liked how you focused on some ideas and really developed your thoughts!
ReplyDeleteI love how you brought out a lot of examples of the events taken place in the 1920's. You made this straight to the point and I don't really need to read a history book or something to understand it. I could tell so much about the 1920's just from reading this.
