12/4

Yesterday in class, we continued working on our muckraking projects for the next week.

My group decided to look at the differences in money spent on school in the Bay Area and how that affects the students and the curriculum of the school. Our solution to this problem is to try and spread the money out evenly rather than having schools that have plenty of donations continue to receive the same amount of money as they did before parents donated to the school. Doing this would try to equalize the quality of the schools and make equal opportunities for all of the students.

  1. I really like your topic that you have chosen for your muckraking project. Your solution sounds like it would really work!

  2. I'm extremely interested in your project, because I really think schools try to bring in all this money and then in the end, it's used for stuff that doesn't really benefit the students or enhance their education.

  3. I really like your idea because it is original, my group and I are doing something fairly similar but about pre-schools so I am excited to see how the two projects will connect to one another! I am excited to see the final product!
